RTS reports that breakthrough in 278-meter-long Trbušani tunnel in Serbia has been achieved.

Trbušani tunnel is one of the key parts of the stretch from Preljina to the Laz tunnel on the route of the Preljina-Požega highway. The 30,9 kilometers long Preljina-Požega route has many bridges, overpasses and the longest tunnels in the country.

The Preljina to Požega highway has 3 tunnels, 35 bridges, 11 overpasses and three loops. It is constructed by Chinese contractor CCCC (China Communications Construction Company Limited). Contract value is 450 million euros.
