Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Urban Development Policy and Construction announces that construction of a connecting line to the Aminevskoye depot from the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line (BCL - Big Circut Line underground) metro began in the Russian capital.

The Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Esmira started boring the 756m long tunnel.

Moscow's BCL is the most ambitious project in the history of the capital's metro construction with a length of 70 km, and 31 stations. It will be the longest underground metro ring line in the world\ beating Beijing's Second ring of 57km according to ASNinfo.
