According to Byggeindustrien, an authoritative sector publication in Norway, the Mesta company has been awarded the contract to maintain 12 tunnels. The publication bases its news on a Statens vegvesen (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration) press release.

As reported, Mesta's offer of NOK 25 million has been lower than those of AG Tunnel (NOK 26,3 million) and BMO Tunnelsikring (31,9 million) all without VAT.
