Gabi Schmidt, the deputy chairman of the Free Group Voters (FW) in the Bavarian State Parliament says the new tunnel on the ICE (high speed train) route between Würzburg-Nuremberg must not come at the expence of the SBahn route between Nuremberg and Neustadt / Aisch. Der Neue Wiesenbote writes.

About a month ago, it came out that the government has earmarked almost 6 billion euros for the expansion of the ICE connection Nuremberg-Würzburg for train traveling at 300km/hour and 864 millons alone will be used for an additional fast train tunnel between Fürth-Bislohe - Nürnberg Hbf.
