The new NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet is reportedly considering to cancel ex-Premier Berejiklian's pet project Beaches Link Road Tunnel. Ex NSW premier Berejiklian had to resign on October 5th following the commencement of an Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) investigation to determine whether a "breach of public trust" had occurred. She is being investigated in relation to her ex-lover so-called 'Dodgy' Daryl Maguire.
The Beaches Link tunnel is planned to connect to the Warringah Freeway, cross underneath Middle Harbour and connect with the Burnt Bridge Creek Deviation at Balgowlah in northern Sydney.
Perrottet government's new transport minister Rob Stokes has reportedly concerns about the project costing the taxpayers' as much as 10 billion dollars.
