    Space-poor Singapore has expanded outwards by building into the sea and upwards by constructing high-rises but planners are now looking underground as they seek new areas for growth.

      It means Singapore finally has given up the hopes of buying land from Malaysia and Indonesia.

      The silver lining is; they are looking for how to better use their own patch of land. Thanks to underground spacing... Smart move.
