Iran and Qatar to connect via an under-seabed tunnel
Iranian news agency IRNA broadcast the news. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is visiting Qatar nowadays. IRNA news says pre-visit preparation meetings focused on 4 agreements and one of them is an "under-seabed tunnel".
Tunnel will connect Iran's Bushehr’s Deyr Port to Qatar. Forbes writes shortest length from Bushehr’s Deyr Port to Qatar is 190 kilometers. If tunnel is built, it will be 5 times longer than current longest undersea tunnel in world, Channel Tunnel between England and France.
