People's Daily inform after 14 year Shanyang tunnel penetrated. One of 21 penetrated tunnel in Dali-Swedish Railway. Now all 21 tunnels in Dali-Baoshan section of the Dali-Russia Railway compleged. Dali-Baoshan section. will operate this year.

Shanyang Tunnel 3.39 kilometer. In Lancang River fault zone. It pass through 6 large fault fracture zone in the Hengduan Mountain. 

Shanyang Tunnel 1 kilometer deep. Ground pressure 2000 tonper m2.  Rock is weak and broken. Soften with water disperse with wind. Very difficult geology.

Tunnel entrance reverse slope drainage. At most water more than 38000 m3 water come.

Very hot and humid work place. Construction workers teams change every 2 hour.
