Algerian officials praise 53-km-long portion of the highway connecting Chiffa and Berrouaghia. China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) company constructed 9.6-km-long tunnel and 2.7-km-long bridge.

Unlike Europe companies, CSCEC trained more than 2000 Algerian engineers and used local contribution.
