TBM malfunction delays the excavation work for Japan's high-speed maglev bullet train
Tunnel boring work for the Tokyo - Nagoya magnetic levitation Shinkansen train line is running behind schedule due to a problem with the tunnel boring machine.
JR Tokai plans to repair the TBM by the end of the year and to continue boring by June 2023.
