The tunnel is 300 meter long that runs under three existing tracks in the north of the city of Bern, west of the Bern-Wankdorf train station.

This tunnel might be short, but it is a real problem solver. The tunnel will help SBB manage the puzzle in this very busy route with 900 (nine hundred) trains running each day! Up until this tunnel, they were using one level.
