To a TV channel, E-BERK chairman Özgür Savaş Özüdoğru made announcement that E-BERK shortlisted for supply of 11meter diameter Diyarbakır Silvan water tunnel. He also mention that currently E-BERK has capacity to produce up to 15 meter diameter TBM with own means.

Özüdoğru also reitarate interest to supply the tunnel boring machine for the future triple-deck İstanbul Atatürk Tunnel under İstanbul strait (Boğaziçi).

He was talking ahead of the ceremony to present the latest Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) TBM that E-BERK has produced. On 18 September ceremony attended by Industry and Technology minister and also by Forestry and Water Works minister and many other top beurocrats and leaders of organizations. It is not common in Turkey two ministers attend such event. Certainly Mr Özüdoğru knows right people.

In intervıew, flamboyent owner Özüdoğru also critisize indirectly Turkish construction companies. In Türkiye Turkish origin companies have 15% price advantage in state tenders. Problem is this: Turkish construction companies get tenders with this 15% price advantage in their pocket, but go and buy German Herrenknecht for same TBM E-BERK produce. Özüdoğru push government to force construction companies fulfil this "Turkish advantage" also in their TBM purchases.
