Malaysia: Breakthrough of the ECRL Genting Tunnel is expected in the second quarter of 2025
The 665 km long railway ECRL project has 59 tunnels a total length of 61 kilometers. Project contractor is China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC).
The penetration of the East Coast Railroad Project (ECRL) project here, for 16.39 kilometers across the Titiwangsa Range is scheduled to be reached in the second quarter of 2025, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said.
