China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (CREG) Tunnel Boring Machine is for boring the tunnels of line 2 expansion between the Vila Prudente and Penha stations. The TBM has a diameter of 11.66 meters. It will bore 7.5 km of tunnels in the extent of the 2-green line to a depth up to 41 meters.
