In an All-Indian bidding competition, Afcons Infrastructure (bidding Rs 630.45 crore) has beaten Sam India Builtwell, ITD Cementation India, J Kumar Infraprojects.

Contract includes building a twin tunnel using Tunnel Boring Machine method and an underground station in addition to other work.
