German local press reports that Mühlhäuser Obermann GmbH has found an investor. Bauer Maschinen GmbH from Immenstadt in the Allgäu region takes over Obermann. Bauer Maschinen GmbH is subsidiary of Bauer Group based in Schrobenhausen in Upper Bavaria, a provider of groundwater services, machinery and products with a presence in 70 countries, with 12,000 employees and a a turnover of 1.7 billion euros in 2018.

Also the good news is Bauer Maschinen keeps all employees of Obermann and also the company location at Michelstadt. With 15 employees and a sales of 2m Euros, Obermann is specialized in injection and mixing technology in tunneling and foundation engineering.

Obermann GmbH's old parent company Karl-H. Mühlhäuser GmbH & Co. KG was not that lucky.  The insolvent tunneling machine manufacturer with more than 100 years of company history and around 150 employees, there was no investor and they closed their doors...
