9 Kilometer tunnel to link the downtown cores of Quebec City and Lévis
The mayors of Quebec City and Lévis both support the provincial government's new proposal for a 9 kilometer long tunnel linking the downtown cores of Quebec City and Lévis, after the CAQ government decided it is scrapping the route announced last spring.
Quebec Transport Minister François Bonnardel welcomes the mayors' enthusiasm for the project.

'Why not link the future Quebec-Lévis tunnel to the Dufferin-Montmorency highway rather than having it emerge in Saint-Roch and sabotage urban improvement projects in the neighborhood?' asks Le Soleil over the proposed route for the tunnel link between Quebec City and Lévis.
Ministry of Transport says for Quebec-Lévis tunnel, the route linking directly the city centers of Quebec and Lévis is the only one being worked on. But they do not give details.
