Six SNC-Lavalin subsidiaries banned from public contracts in Quebec for five years

The Autorité des marchés publics (AMP) of Quebec adds six subsidiaries of the Montreal based Canadian engineering giant SNC Lavalin to its `ineligible to bid` RENA list. Companies in RENA list are excluded from public contracts.

This follows the the guilty plea of a subsidiary ( SNC-Lavalin Construction Inc ) of the SNC Lavalin admitting having bribed officials in Libya and the `SNC Lavalin Affair` political scandal around it, involving an alleged interference in the Canadian justice system.
