NEPAL: Construction of Naghdungha-Sisne Khola tunnel from Dhading side to begin
My Republica publication quotes Shyam Prasad Kharel, the project head of Nagdhunga Tunnel Construction Project. Tunnelling will start these days. Project head says an agreement reached with the locals about the compensation.
The 2.7 kilometers tunnel started with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) loan in November 2019. the Japanese contractor, Hajma Ando Corporation sent many letter for site clearance. Finally there is compensation settlement with locals.
