Viability of Western Harbour Tunnel and WestConnex stage 3 are questioned as Sydney's population decrease is likely

 

A post-coronavirus decrease in the population of Sydney is predicted. It started the discussion of whether such infrastructure projects are really needed. Whether it is still economically viable to spend 10 - 15 billion for such projects.

I myself think any decrease in Sydney population, even if it really happens, will be temporary and there will still be a need for such projects. On the other hand, it reflects the psychology of the people in these times and may prove to be contagious and Australia's politicians may get the idea too...
