Peru Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) will start the construction of the Ollaechea tunnel in the Ollaechea district of the Puno region. 900 Metre tunnel will cost US$ 39m. The tunnel will be part of the part of the route of section 4 of the Interoceánica Sur in the province of Carabaya at an altitude of 2690 metre.
