In yet another court victory for Enbridge, Michigan Court of Appeals rules that the controversial 2018 law for a new oil pipeline tunnel under the Straits of Mackinac is constitutional. This ruling adds to the string of court rulings in favor of the Canadian pipeline company. Short time ago,the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, again in favor of Enbridge, had overruled an earlier ruling by a lower court

This is not the end of the legal battle for the Enbridge. There are some additional court cases in the "pipeline" for Enbridge. Meanwhile Attorney General Dana Nessel who had brought the constitutional case to Michigan Court of Appeals seems to be willing to take the case to the Michigan Supreme Court.
