Enbridge closes one of the two existing fuel pipelines beneath the Straits of Mackinac. They say it is because of a 'damaged anchor support'. Both tunnels together carry 540,000 gallons of fuel daily. They claim it is a 'precautionary measure', probably hinting no damage to environment. But then, I remember those probes that Enbridge `had dropped`and chose not to inform the public for months.
