One of the two tunnels connecting the Noord-Amsterdam to the rest of the city is named after Jan Pieterszoon Coen. He is a 17th century trader in the 'Dutch East Indies' and his nick name is 'Banda Butcher'. He's got that name after ordering the killing of the whole population of Banda Islands to become the monopoly in nutmeg trade.
