Extinction Rebellion activists chain themselves to a drilling rig to stop construction of Silvertown Tunnel
The climate activists Extinction Rebellion group are known to oppose the construction of the Silvertown Tunnel saying if would encourage vehicle traffic and ultimately cause even more air pollution.
They had protested against the Silvertown Tunnel before. This time they have chained themselves to a drilling rig.
