This is about the GEREDE tunnel in Western Turkey. It is a water tunnel 5,5m diameter. 31.6km long.

The Gerede tunnel that the ITA-AITES Awards conveniently ignored in their awards.

Gerede is in a very challenging geology. Gerede tunnel construction 'had to overcome a total of 48 major fault zones and water pressure build ups of up to 26 bar.'

This academic paper is over the Gerede Tunnel.
