Pune Metro: Despite lockdown, tunnel excavation reaches Civil Court station

Maharastra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MahaMetro) announced that the tunnel boring machine (TBM) excavating the Pune Metro has reached the Civil Court Station. The last 50 meter of the tunnel will be excavated not via TBM but via controlled blasting method.
The Civil Court Station is the deepest station on the route.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar reviewed progress of the Pune Metro Rail project.
