HS2: Council appeals again to Department for Transport to get plans for Chilterns section reviewed
Lord Berkeley and Wendover Parish Council appeal again against the HS2 plans for the Chilterns section. The Council thinks a mined 4.2km tunnel will be less destructive and cheaper as opposed to current plans for a viaduct and a cut & cover tunnel, reports New Civil Engineer.
