Romania highway company put out to tender the largest contract for an infrastructure work.

The announcement of lot 3 of the Sibiu-Pitești highway, the one between Cornetu and Tigveni with an estimated cost of 1.1-1.2 billion euros put in tender. It is 37.4 kilometre.

It will be the first mountain highway launched in Romania. It has a 1.7-kilometer tunnel, 48 highway bridges and viaducts.
