Valencia to have a tunnel under the river to connect V-30 and the A-3
A connection between V-30 and the A-3 in the direction of Madrid in the form of a bridge is not desired by the Valencia municipalities. Contrary to the bridge option pushed by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, the municipalities instead propose a tunnel under the Turia riverbed similar to the metro.
The proposed tunnel is to have a lane for high occupancy vehicles (HOV) and a safe passage for pedestrians and bicycles.
This is the outcome of the meeting by representatives of the district municipalies on Friday with the regional secretary for Territorial Policy, Urban Planning and Landscape according to Elperiodic.
