Japan consortium get Davao City Bypass road and tunnel project
Manila times report Philippines Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) award first package of Davao City Bypass road and tunnel project. 44.6 kilometer. First package 1-1 is 10.7 kilometer with 2.3 kilometer tunnel.

DPWH is set build the Philippine's first-ever long distance mountain tunnel, with length of 2.3 kilometers, as part of the first 10.7-kilometer segment of the Davao City Bypass Road Project.
Financed by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
