Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono order the construction of a tunnel between Ambarawa and Temanggung. It is part of Yogyakarta - Bawen toll road. Minister said  "When it was explained on the panel, there was no mention of a tunnel, but in the video it was stated that between Ambarawa and Temanggung there was a potential tunnel location and that is my order".

Yogyakarta - Bawen Toll Road is built by a consortium of PT Jasa Marga Tbk, PT Adhi Karya Tbk, PT Waskita Karya , PT PP Tbk ​​and PT Brantas Abipraya.

When detail engineering design time comes, three tunnels proposed by minister will be clear if feasible.
