The Arcadis, Setec and Cowi joint venture, known as ASC, will produce detailed designs for 80km of track between the Chiltern tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

This section of the line includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions 81 bridges and 30M.m3 of excavation.
