Two teams from separate portals join in middle of La Paz tunnel (Colombia). After 24 months of work and an investment of 280,000 million pesos, the 3.2-kilometer-long work completed. The excavation was done in a conventional way using the mechanical method, requiring the collaboration of 150 workers.  Tunnel will be inaugurated in a formal ceremony, by the vice president, Marta Lucía Ramírez.
