Metropolitan Belt project will cost around 600 million euros. It will also have a 410 metre long tunnel.

This was discussed in an online meeting on Friday 9. Meeting organized by USR-Plus deputy Viorel Băltărețu attended by Silviu Tegzeșiu, project manager of the Metropolitan Belt, Ciprian Comșulea, project manager, Emil Boc, mayor of Cluj-Napoca and Dan Tarcea, deputy mayor.

Mayor said that  the Metropolitan belt project will be financed from European funds under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Feasibility study expected to finish autumn 2021.
