Opposition wows to build Melbourne's Eastern Freeway tunnels
There we go again... Again promises to build the Eastern Freeway project. If ever elected. The East West Link (EWL) was a proposed 18km-long freeway standard road connection between the Eastern Freeway at Hoddle Street and the Western Ring Road in Sunshine West, Melbourne. It is being talked about for years but opponents claim the project lacks the business case.
