The Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk announced on Thursday on the radio of Jedynka that the Świną tunnel will be operational in the autumn of 2022.

1,780 metres long Świną tunnel between the islands of Uznam and Wolin will be the longest underwater crossing in Poland with 1,484 meters under the water.

The tunnel is being constructed by GÜLERMAK and PORR.
