RBC reports that Bashkiria entered into a direct agreement on the construction project of the Eastern Exit from Ufa to the M-5 Ural highway with VTB Bank and VEB.RF Development Corporation. Agreement was signed at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021).

Bashkir Concession Company will receive 11,6 billion rubles loan. The term of the concession is 25 years.

The construction of the Eastern Exit is being implemented in Bashkiria is constructed per contract between the republican government and the Bashkir Concession Company (Russia's VTB Infrastructure Holding and the Turkish holding Limak Group). Contractor of the project is Limakmarashavtodorogi LLC. The concession agreement provides for the completion of the construction of a tunnel with a length of more than 1.2 km, the construction of a bridge over the Ufa River and a ten-kilometer section toll road. The total investment in the project is more than 40 billion rubles.
