Pakistan officials, including K-P Highways Authority MD Amir Nadeem Durrani, Provincial Highways Project Director Barakat Shah, have met to discuss to review the feasibility report on 35.2km Buner Expressway.

They conclude that a 1.45 kilometre-long tunnel would be constructed in Ambela to Shebaz Garhi section.
