SRT Marks Longest Tunnel Breakthrough in Thailand
Bangkok Post reports the Tunnel Boring Machine breakthrough for longest tunnel in Thailand. 5.2km tunnel is part of dual-track project carried out by Italian-Thai Development Plc and the Rail Tunnelling Co for State Railway of Thailand.
The new 5.2km tunnel is now Thailand's longest tunnel. Previous longest tunnel was 1.3km Khun Tan Tunnel.
