RZD International, part of the Russian Railways holding, announced it has completed research on two primary sections for designing the reconstruction of the Valjevo-Vrbnica-state border with Montenegro, on the Belgrade-Bar line.

On route there are 139 tunnels, 121 bridges, 642 culverts. Most need repairs. RZD recommends strengthening of Sopotnica tunnel.
