The 24,51-kilometre-long Lærdalstunnelen (Lærdal Tunnel) is a road tunnel connecting the municipalities of Lærdal and Aurland in Vestland approximately 175–200 kilometres northeast of Bergen in Norway. The tunnel carries two lanes of European Route E16 and. It is the longest road tunnel in the world.

Sogn Avis reports that Staten vegvesen (Norwegian road company) seriously considers a new run for the Lærdal tunnel instead of an extensive and expensive renovation of the existing tunnel.
