L&T bids the lowest amount for the work of Package PC-03, reports Urban Transport News. The work is for construction of a 7.5km section of Patna Metro Rail Project of corridor 2. It involves the design and construction of the twin tube tunnel by Tunnel Boring Machine & cut & cover methods as well as an underground ramp and six underground stations.

For the contract, L&T bidding 1,989 Crores has beaten other Indian companies Afcons, ITD and Tata.
