The boring of the tunnel under the Świna is going all fine according to plans. This declares Andrzej Adamczyk, Minister of Infrastructure on Polish Radio.

According to Wprost, Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) informed that the TBM Wyspiarka machine bored a kilometer of tunnel. Construction is currently 60 percent advanced.

With 1,484 m of tunnel bored with a TBM machine, the entire tunnel will be 1,780 meters long and it will be the longest underwater tunnel in Poland. The project is supervised by SWECO / Lafrenz. The contractor is the GULERMAK and PORR  consortium.
