The Mayor of Montréal Valérie Plante welcomes the proposal of a 500 metre long tunnel downtown for the Eastern REM. The proposal is one of the several. , It would have a rear station under Boulevard René-Levesque near Robert Bourrassa, as well as one or two underground stations.
