Construction had started in the early 90s of the last century - with a one and a half kilometer tunnel, which will pass under the Lesovodov park and reach Ufimka in the Tramplin area. But then ;ack of money forced project mothballed for decades. It cost hundreds of millions of rubles every year to maintain unfinished tunnel.

Finally the construction was restarted in 2017 as a public-private enterprise.
