If Labor win the 2023 election, they will scrap the state government's proposed $10 billion "Beaches Link" tunnels connecting Sydney's lower north shore and northern beaches.
Opposition Labor's announcement follows the reports that the new NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet is considering to cancel ex-Premier Berejiklian's pet project Beaches Link Road Tunnel. Ex NSW premier Berejiklian had to resign on October 5th following the commencement of an Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) investigation to determine whether a "breach of public trust" had occurred.
