On October 28, GS E&C announced that its consortium won an order worth 3.175.26 billion Australian dollars (more or less 2.8 trillion won) from Victorian State Government in Australia.

A couple of months ago, GS E&C was selected as preferred bidder for North East Link project in Australia. This is first contract of GS E&C in Australia and second biggest abroad. The work is to connect Melbourne's Northeastern Outer Ring and Eastern Roads. Work has a three lane tunnel of 6.5km long.
