Indonesia government talk with Turkish contractors for infrastructure investments in Indonesia

    Publication Kontan writes Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) held a meeting on 5 November with Turkish delegation. Turkish delegation consist of Erdal Eren,President of Turkish Contractors Association Erdal Eren, Irfan Eker of Consultant Association and their members.

    According to publication this was follow up meeting for a virtual one in June 2020.

    According to Kontan, Indonesia plan to fund 30% of US$ 430 million necessary for infrastructure development from state budget. For remaining 70% Indonesian government seek private investment with attractive conditions.

    Minister said Turkish construction companies are among the best in the world with rich expertise and experience in housing and road, bridge and tunnel construction and Indonesia is open for cooperation in the forms of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC). 24 Large infrastructure projects counted with 10 of them for PPP.
