It has been announced that the second Kuthiran tunnel will be complete in March. It was planned earlier but heavy rainfall caused some delay. The first tunnel was already completed in July.

In all measures this is a good achievement. The Kathiran twin tunnels had been in an incomplete state until Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan took the matter in urgency about 6 months ago. This is good achievement.
